That's a good question. I know I was given meal tickets after my sleep study. But then again the VA I went to had a mess hall.

i never thought to ask for one and was never offered , i've gone to a VA clinic and a VA hospital, many times and never came across anything like that !!!

The way I understand it is that if you are in a facility that has some sort of food service, be it a VAMC kitchen or a snack bar/cafeteria or the like AND you go for something like a fasting blood lab...
